The position of “Director of the NFL Department of Fandemonium” is fictional. This is a promotional campaign giving away prizes. This is not an offer of employment of any kind.
Promotion may only be entered in or from the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and entries originating from any other jurisdiction are not eligible for entry. This Promotion is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. You are not authorized to participate in the Promotion if you are not located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Further eligibility restrictions are contained in the official rules below.
- Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. This promotion is governed by US law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Employees of Monster Worldwide, Inc. (“Sponsor”), The Marketing Arm Inc. (“Promotion Administrator”), the NFL Entities (“NFL Entities” as defined below), and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each, are not eligible to participate. Immediate family member is defined as a parent, sibling or any person residing in same household as employee.
- How to Enter. There is both a contest and sweepstakes component to this Promotion, so please review the rules and entry information carefully. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, stolen, postage due mail, or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

CONTEST ENTRY DETAILS:
Phase 1: You can receive up to one (1) entry per person, per day for the contest by completing either an online entry or a Wireless Application Protocol (“WAP”) entry, as detailed below:
- Online Entry: To enter the online contest portion of the Promotion, visit www.nfl.monster.com between October 1, 2009 and November 16, 2009 (“Phase 1 Period”) and complete the online application, which requires that you enter the following information: email, first name, last name, telephone number, date of birth, and favorite NFL team.

WAP Entry: To enter the mobile contest portion of the Promotion, text keyword “FAN” to 72645 from your SMS capable handset. You will then receive a text message back with a link to the WAP site nfl-monster.mobi, where using your WAP enabled wireless device, you can complete the Official Entry Form to receive one (1) entry in the sweepstakes.
Note: Standard text messaging rates apply. Wireless service providers may charge for each standard text message sent & received. See your wireless service provider for pricing & service plan before entry. You may be charged for WAP service according to the terms of your service agreement with your service provider. - Drawing and Candidate Selection: Thirty-two (32) potential candidates (one per NFL team) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received via online and text entry on or about November 17, 2009. Each potential candidate will have twenty-four (24) hours from time of initial contact to confirm the address to which the Promotion Administrator can send candidate paperwork and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility (which affirms that he/she has complied with these rules) and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release, as well as an IRS W-9 form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) each of which, if issued, must be completed, signed and returned within two (2) days of receipt. Should a NFL team potential candidate(s) choose not to participate or is/are unable to participate in Phase 2, is/are ineligible for the Promotion and/or fails to timely respond to any requests (as defined) by Promotion Administrator, the candidacy will be forfeited and pre-qualified, alternate NFL team candidate will be awarded. The thirty-two (32) potential alternates (one per NFL team) will be selected in a random drawing on or around October 19, 2009 from among all eligible entries received at the time of drawing via online and text entry. Each potential alternate candidate will have twenty-four (24) hours from time of initial contact to confirm the address to which the Promotion Administrator can send candidate paperwork and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility (which affirms that he/she has complied with these rules) and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release, as well as an IRS W-9 form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) each of which, if issued, must be completed, signed and returned within two (2) days of receipt.. Should potential alternate candidate(s) choose not to participate or is/are unable to participate in Phase 2, is/are ineligible for the Promotion and/or fails to timely respond to any requests (as defined) by Promotion Administrator, alternate candidacy will be forfeited and another alternate candidate will be selected. Alternate selection process will continue from among all eligible entries received on or before October 19, 2009 until an alternate candidate is confirmed. Once confirmed, each alternate candidate will replace his/her NFL team’s potential candidate if such candidate chooses not to participate or is unable to participate in Phase 2, is ineligible for the Promotion and/or fails to timely respond to Promotion Administrator. Back ground checks will be completed for each finalist and alternate.
Phase 2: Between November 23, 2009 and December 13, 2009 (“Phase 2 Period”), the thirty-two (32) candidates chosen from Phase 1 will campaign for referrals (votes) via social media efforts initiated on their own behalf. Monster.com will provide assistance to the candidates through a “tool kit” of Monster products and social media guides to help each finalist position themselves as the best candidate for the Director of Fandemonium position. See section 7 for Terms and Conditions of Department of Fandemonium Promotion, Campaigning and Director of Fandemonium Position. Profiles, created by Promotion Administrator, of the thirty-two (32) candidates will be posted online at www.nfl.monster.com for public voting. Candidates will be evaluated by the voting public based on the voting public’s application of the following three (3) equally-weighted criteria: (i) Passion for the NFL and Monster.com, (ii) Motivation, and (iii) Professional integrity. The eight (8) candidates with the greatest number of referrals at the end of Phase 2 will be deemed the “finalists” and will be entered into Phase 3 of the Promotion. In the event that a finalist(s) is unable to be entered into Phase 3 of the Contest, the candidate with the next most referrals beginning with the 9th candidate will be deemed “finalists”.
Phase 3: Between December 14, 2009 and December 31, 2009 (“Phase 3 Period”), the eight (8) finalists will be flown on or around December 15, 2009 to New York City, New York to participate in interviews with, tasks, and challenges (subject to change, specific dates, details, and participation requirements to be determined by Sponsor) with representatives of Sponsor, Promotion Administrator, and the NFL Entities. Interviews, tasks and challenges will be filmed for each finalist. In the event that a finalist is disabled in accordance with the American Disabilities Act, Sponsor will provide reasonable accommodation for competitive tasks and or challenges. Videos, storylines, profiles and biographies of the eight (8) finalists will be crafted by Sponsor and Promotion Administrator in preparation for the fourth and final phase of the Promotion. Content will be posted online and available for viewing and download. Finalists will depart New York on or around December 19, 2009. The trip includes (i) round trip coach class air transportation for one, (ii) standard hotel accommodations (single occupancy), and (iii) three hundred dollars ($300) in a monetary form to be determined by Sponsor. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of finalist travel is $1,600. The actual value will vary depending on winner’s city of departure. Sponsor may substitute for air travel if winner lives close to destination. If the actual value turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. All expenses not specifically included, including but not limited to any taxes or expenses as set forth, are the sole responsibility of Winner. Winner must travel on dates specified by Sponsor, or may forfeit prize. Selected airline and hotel are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If the Contest is postponed or cancelled for any reason after travel is arranged, balance of trip will be awarded in full satisfaction of prize, and no additional prize will be awarded. Winner must possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable. Airfare does not include government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or September 11th Security Fee. Ground transportation, tax, gratuities, personal expenses, and all other expenses incurred on the trip that are not specifically provided for herein, including but not limited to additional ground transportation, airport taxes or fees, gratuities and any other incidental expenses, are solely the responsibility of the applicable prize winner.
Phase 4: Between January 1, 2010 and February 5, 2010 (“Phase 4 Period”), campaigning and voting will intensify, including individual finalist blogging and campaigning via social media. Extent of which each finalist campaigns is solely up to each individual finalist. In-depth profiles, created by Sponsor and Promotions Administrator, of the eight (8) finalists will be posted online at www.nfl.monster.com for final public voting. Candidates will be evaluated by the voting public based on the voting public’s application of the following three (3) equally-weighted criteria: (i) Passion for the NFL and Monster.com, (ii) Motivation, and (iii) Professional integrity. Two (2) finalists will be eliminated through public voting during each week of Phase 4. Eliminations will occur on or around the following dates January 11, 18, and 25, 2010. Eliminated finalists will be notified via telephone and/or email at the Sponsor and Promotion Administrator’s sole discretion and voting online and via WAP for the eliminated finalists will cease. The two (2) finalists remaining on or around January 25, 2010 will perform their final job interview/tasks at the NFL Pro Bowl on or about January 31, 2010, which may include a physical competition. Details of physical competition and level of participation required to be determined by Sponsor. In the event that a finalist is disabled in accordance with the American Disabilities Act, Sponsor will provide reasonable accommodation for competitive tasks and or challenges. The finalist receiving the most votes will be awarded the grand prize and the finalist receiving the next most votes will be awarded the runner up prize. The grand prize and runner up winners will be announced on or around February 7, 2010, time and place of announcement to be determined by Sponsor.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY DETAILS:
Sweepstakes entry period begins October 1, 2009 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends February 5, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Phase 1: You can receive up to one (1) entry per person, per day for the sweepstakes by completing either an online entry or a Wireless Application Protocol (“WAP”) entry, as detailed below:
- Online Entry: During the Phase 1 Period of the online sweepstakes, any member of the public who has previously registered for Phase 1 of the online contest portion and who forwards the contest information described above from www.nfl.monster.com to anywhere from one (1) to five (5) other individuals will receive one (1) entry into the sweepstakes portion of the Promotion.
- WAP Entry: During the Phase 1 Period of the WAP sweepstakes, any member of the public who has previously registered for Phase 1 of the WAP contest portion and who forwards the contest information described above from nfl-monster.mobi to anywhere from one (1) to five (5) other individuals will receive one (1) entry into the sweepstakes portion of the Promotion. Referred individuals will receive the sweepstakes information at the email address provided; regardless of Online or WAP refer a friend method.
PHASES 2, 3 and 4:
- Online or WAP Vote Entry: During each of the Phase 2 Period, Phase 3 Period and Phase 4 Period, any member of the public who registers and votes online at www.nfl.monster.com or via WAP site nfl-monster.mobi for his/her favorite candidate or finalist will receive an entry into the sweepstakes portion of the Promotion. Voting public will be asked to evaluate candidates and vote for a candidate based on their application of the following three (3) equally-weighted criteria: (i) Passion for the NFL and Monster.com, (ii) Motivation, and (iii) Professional integrity. Limit one (1) entry per day, per person will be received, whether voting online or via WAP, for sweepstakes entry.

Online or WAP Refer a Friend Entry: During each of the Phase 2 Period, Phase 3 Period, and Phase 4 Period, any member of the public who has previously registered in Phase 1 Period or during Phase 2 Period, Phase 3 Period, or Phase 4 Period registers and votes for his/her favorite candidate (as described above), will receive an extra entry into the sweepstakes when he/she forwards the sweepstakes information described above from www.nfl.monster.com or via WAP site nfl-monster.mobi to anywhere from one (1) to five (5) other individuals. Referred individuals will receive the sweepstakes information at the email address provided; regardless of Online or WAP refer a friend method. Limit one (1) extra entry per day, per person will be received, whether referring a friend online or via WAP, for sweepstakes entry.

No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, postage-due, technically corrupted or garbled entries or mail, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. By entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, the Promotion Administrator, and the judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

Sweepstakes Prizes: Drawing and Award
- Weekkly Prize Winners: Eighteen (18) weekly prize winners will be selected in eighteen (18) weekly random drawings from among all eligible sweepstakes entries received via online and via WAP site at the time of each drawing during the sweepstakes entry period. The potential winners will be notified by phone and/or email, at the Promotion Administrator’s sole discretion. Potential winners will be required to confirm the address to which Promotion Administrator can send their prize within two (2) days of initial contact or an alternate potential winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winners’ consent to use of his/her name and/or photograph without further compensation for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes by Sponsor. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges compliance with these official rules.
- Grand Prize Winner: One (1) alternate grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received via online and via WAP site on or about January 2, 2010. Alternate grand prize winner will have twenty-four (24) hours from time of initial contact to confirm the address to which the Promotion Administrator can send candidate paperwork and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility (which affirms that he/she has complied with these rules) and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release, as well as an IRS W-9 form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) each of which, if issued, must be completed, signed and returned within two (2) days of receipt. Should the grand prize winner choose not to participate or is/are unable to participate, is/are ineligible for the Promotion and/or fails to timely respond to any requests (as defined) by Promotion Administrator, the prize will be forfeited and the pre-qualified, alternate grand prize winner will be awarded the grand prize. On or about January 25, 2010, Promotion Administrator will select one (1) grand prize sweepstakes winner from all eligible sweepstakes entries received during the Promotion. The potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email, at the Promotion Administrator’s sole discretion and will be required to confirm his/her address for paperwork delivery. The potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility (which affirms that he/she has complied with these rules) and Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release, as well as an IRS W-9 form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) each of which, if issued, must be completed, signed and returned within two (2) days from date of issuance, or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the alternate grand prize winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winners’ consent to use of his/her name and/or photograph without further compensation for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes by Sponsor. - Sweepstakes Weekly Prize Winners: Each weekly winner will receive one (1) one hundred dollar ($100) NFLSHOP.com gift certificate. Total ARV of each Sweepstakes Weekly Winner Prize: $100.00). Total ARV of all Sweepstakes Weekly Prize Winner Prizes: $1,800.00.
- Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner: The grand prize sweepstakes winner will receive: one (1) trip for Sweepstakes winner and winner’s one (1) guest to Super Bowl XLIV in South Florida in 2010 including: roundtrip coach air transportation for Sweepstakes winner and winner’s one (1) guest from an airport nearest the Sweepstakes winner’s home within the U.S. (airport and carrier to be selected by Sponsor); one (1) double occupancy, standard hotel room(s) for three (3) nights (hotel to be selected by Sponsor); ground transportation to/from airport and hotel in Souh Florida (transfers to be arranged by Sponsor); two (2) tickets to attend Super Bowl XLIV; and six hundred dollars ($600) in a monetary form to be determined by Sponsor. Note: Ground transportation in residence city to and from airport will not be provided. Total ARV of Sweepstakes Grand Prize: $4,050.00.
- Sweepstakes Alternate Grand Prize Winner: One (1) alternate grand prize sweepstakes winner will receive one (1) two hundred fifty dollar ($250) NFLSHOP.COM gift certificate which may be used to purchase an authentic NFL Jersey. In the event that the alternate becomes the grand prize winner only the NFLSHOP.com gift certificate will not be awarded. Total ARV of Sweepstakes Alternative Grand Prize Winner Prize: $250.00.

Contest Grand Prize Winner: One Grand Prize will be awarded, and will receive one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), to be distributed in four installments over one year via check, as well as unique NFL experiences listed below, all of which to constitute the fictional employment position of the 2009-2010 “Director of the NFL Department of Fandemonium”. Experiences subject to change at sponsor discretion, for prizes of equal or greater value.
- Join the coin toss ceremony at Super Bowl XLV
- Call a play at the 2011 Pro Bowl
- Announce a pick at the 2010 NFL Draft
- Act as backstage talent wrangler at the 2010 NFL Kickoff
- Monitor player uniforms on-field before a 2010 Wild Card game
- Participate in on-field player introductions at the 2010 International Series game
- Be an on-field broadcast liaison for NFL Network’s 2010 Thanksgiving game

- Meet with top NFL Executives
- Such experiences will include, for the Director and one (1) guest:

- One (1) Hotel room (double occupancy) at a location nearby the experience venue, at Monster’s discretion
- Coach Air travel from the airport closest to the winner’s residence, at Monster’s discretion
Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Contest Grand Prize: $167,000.
- Contest Runner Up: One Contest Runner Up Prize will be awarded, and will receive ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to be paid in one installment via check. Total ARV of Contest Runner Up Prize: $10,000.
- Contest Phase 3 Finalist Trips to New York: Eight (8) finalists will be flown on or around December 15, 2009 to New York City, New York for activities detailed above. The trip includes (i) round trip coach class air transportation for one, (ii) standard hotel accommodations (single occupancy), and (iii) three hundred dollars ($300) in a monetary form to be determined by Sponsor. Total ARV of each finalist trip is $1,600. Total ARV of all Contest Phase 3 Finalist Trips to New York: $12,800.00.
- Contest Phase 1 Prize for Candidates: Thirty-two (32) Phase 1 Candidates will win a one hundred dollar ($100) NFLSHOP.COM gift certificate, which may be used to purchase an authentic NFL Jersey and a Flip Camera (ARV of Flip Camera: $249.99). Total ARV of each Contest Phase 1 Prize for Candidates: $349.99. Total ARV of all Contest Phase 1 Prizes for Candidates: $11,199.68
- Contest Phase 1 Prize for Alternates: Up to thirty-two (32) Phase 1 Alternates will win a one hundred dollar ($100) NFLSHOP.com gift certificate, which may be used to purchase an authentic NFL Jersey. Total ARV of each Contest Phase 1 Prize for Alternates: $100.00. In the event that an alternate becomes a candidate only one (1) one hundred dollar ($100) NFLSHOP.com gift certificate will be awarded.

ALL EXPENSES, TAXES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF PRIZES NOT SET FORTH IN THESE RULES ARE THE OBLIGATION OF THE WINNERS. Prizes are not transferable, except at discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are awarded WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND from Sponsor, express or implied, without limitation. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All unspecified expenses are the responsibility of winners.

- Conditions. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Participation in Sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes each winner’s permission for Sponsor to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by each winner regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless NFL Entities and Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator are not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified.

Additional Terms. In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, its affiliates, partners and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Promotion, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading any materials in this Promotion.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Promotion should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Sponsor will select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or web site. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DEPARTMENT OF FANDEMONIUM PROMOTION, CAMPAIGNING AND DIRECTOR OF FANDEMONIUM POSITION.
